FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Dear Editor,

This past weekend many people in The City of Hudson enjoyed a great Flag Day Celebration. This is because of the hard work of many people and groups. Under the leadership of the Hudson Elks #787 & The City of Hudson.

At this time I would like to Thank the Department of Public Works for their hard work on Saturday to not only make the City look as clean as it is but the long hours and hard work all day and into the night keeping the city going.

The Hudson Police Department with support from area Law enforce and local Fire Police groups keeping traffic moveing in a timely matter. Charles Hoffman and his members for Parade lineup this group working in a small area move this 2 hour parade down the City streets in a great and timely matter.

With leadership from Parade Event Coordinator Peter Morrata we have over 60 plus community members with input from others the make this each year bigger and better.

As both member for the Hudson Elks Lodge #787 and Worker for the City of Hudson it makes me proud to work with you all and also be proud we all worked very hard to make our City shine this day for the residents and guest who visit Hudson.

As people see we live our Motto: "Welcome to Hudson the Friendly City" and as Elks our Motto: "Elks Care Elks Share."

Thank you again and I hope we can do this again next year.

Sincerely,
Daniel P. Shaughnasey, PER
