Once again the club will be manning a booth at the Great Northeast Outdoors Show held at the Egg in Albany. Volunteers will be needed. The dates of the show are March 19-21, 2004. Set up time is from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Volunteers are needed for the following days and hours: Friday, March 19, 4:00 to 9:00 PM; Saturday, March 20, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and, Sunday, March 21, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At the end of the day Sunday we will need someone to help take down the display and transport it to a suitable storage place. A pickup truck will be required for this job. Note that increased security measures have been implemented at the Empire State Plaza. To use parking areas requires identification with a picture. Make sure you bring identification with you.

The Club will be raffling off a 30-06 rifle and a half-year Club membership at the show.

The General Membership meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Newcomb Firehouse in Newcomb, NY. We will be conducting regular Club business and electing the 2004 Club officers. Absentee ballots/Nomination forms are attached to this newsletter. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor. The Fall Party has been scheduled for November 6th at the Newcomb Fire House, at 7:00 PM.

The Club will be hosting an Open House on May 22 and 23, 2004. Hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday the 22nd and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday the 23rd. Volunteers are needed to show the property during Open House weekend. If you would like to help out at the Open House, Contact John Mooney at (518) 372-6779. Mickey Block will be holding a cash raffle. If you would like to participate contact Mickey to purchase your tickets. The drawing will be held at the Open House.

Dues are due by April 30, 2004. Notices will be going out on or before April 1st. Guest passes are still $20. Pleas send your dues to the Treasurer, Ron Caponera at 29 Dutch Meadows Dr., Cohoes, NY 12047.

Any old gate keys need to be sent to the Secretary or Treasurer by mail or hand deliver ed at the next General Membership meeting .

May 1st and 2nd, Mark Miner will be posting boundaries on the Club. If anyone would like to put in a work day, volunteers should meet at the Ward’s Mill gate at 9:00 AM on either day. Other work days will be scheduled at the General Membership Meeting.
