                REIMBURSEMENT:

In 1995 when I was in your courtroom the insurance company’s attorney said they would supply transportation to and from my house to their doctor’s office.  My attorney asked you to verify this and you did.  The afternoon before the appointment, Mr. Diorio called me and told me that I was to pay for the transportation, the gas, and tolls.  I sent all receipts to Mr. Diorio.  A few months later when I was never reimbursed I sent Mr. Diorio a copy of the receipts.  I kept asking Mr. Diorio for my money, when I could talk to him, and all he would tell is that he was working on it.  On April 8th 1997, I finally received a copy of your decision.  I called Mr. Diorio so he could explain the decision and find out what happened to the reimbursement.  He then informed me that he attorney for the insurance company did not have the authority to grant a reimbursement.  Why wasn’t I informed of this before now?  What does it mean, “the attorney didn’t have the authority”, didn’t your verification give him the authority?  I would appreciate an answer to my questions please.  I have been through 5 years of hell and it doesn’t seem to be at an end yet.  I really need some answers.

Sincerely,
